• Equipment Operation: Operates the boom truck crane to lift, lower, and transfer materials (e.g., pipes, construction materials, poles).
• Site Set-Up: Positions the vehicle, deploys outriggers, and ensures stability on uneven terrain before lifting.
• Inspection & Maintenance: Conducts daily inspections of boom functions, hydraulic systems, wire ropes, and shackles to report defects and prevent accidents.
• Safety Compliance: Follows all company safety policies, rigging procedures, and traffic regulations while operating.
• Loading & Transport: Secures cargo, verifies load weights, and transports materials to and from job sites.
• Communication: Communicates effectively with riggers and site staff, typically using hand signals or radio.

Typical Qualifications

• License: Valid Professional Driver's License (appropriate restriction codes for heavy vehicles).
• Certification: TESDA NC II Certification (Philippines) or relevant crane operator certification.
