Shift Manager, Quezon City

Job description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all procedures, policies, and standards are followed.
• Coordinate staff activities to maintain smooth workflow.
• Monitor equipment, inventory, and supplies; report or resolve any issues.
• Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to staff.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure employees understand their duties.
• Handle scheduling changes, breaks, and workload balancing.
• Manage cash registers, payments, and end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
• Prepare shift reports and documentation as required.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and inventory.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelors degree in business, management, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
• 13 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., retail, food service, hospitality, manufacturing).
• Proven ability to manage teams and handle shift operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Ability to delegate tasks and oversee staff performance.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
