Job Summary: The Banquet Waiter is responsible for providing excellent service during banquets, receptions, and other events held at the venue. This role includes setting up banquet areas, serving food and drinks to guests, ensuring a high standard of service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup:

Assist in setting up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations as per event specifications.

Set up food and beverage stations, buffets, or plated service stations, ensuring they are ready before the event begins.

Guest Service:

Greet guests as they arrive, offering a warm welcome and guiding them to their seats when necessary.

Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring all dietary preferences or restrictions are addressed.

Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

Maintain knowledge of the event menu and beverages to answer guest questions accurately.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Ensure cleanliness of all banquet areas, including dining tables, chairs, and serving stations.

Clear and reset tables between courses or after the event, maintaining a tidy and organized space.

Assist with breakdown and storage of equipment, linens, and other event materials after the event concludes.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with the banquet supervisor, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth event operations.

Help coordinate with other staff for efficient service and guest satisfaction during large events.

Other Duties:

Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Supervisor or Event Manager.
