Bookkeeper, San Juan

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash funds, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Maintain and update the general ledger and supporting financial documentation.

Prepare invoices, billing statements, and collection follow-ups for clients and customers.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow reports, and other accounting schedules as required by management.

Ensure all financial records are properly organized, filed, and maintained for audit and compliance purposes.

Verify the accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies for proper resolution.

Assist in payroll processing and monitoring of employee-related financial records, as assigned.

Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, banks, suppliers, and government agencies regarding accounting and financial matters.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and other applicable government requirements.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities and other accounting functions as required.

Perform other bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative duties as assigned by management.
