ACCOUNTING ASSISSTANT

Position Overview

The Accounting Assistant will support the Finance and Operations team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, compliance with government regulations, and preparation of audit requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of the companys financial records and supporting smooth daytoday accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor outstanding payables and reconcile supplier statements.
• Maintain accurate records of disbursements and expense allocations.

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare billing statements and monitor collections from clients.
• Record receipts, reconcile customer accounts, and follow up on overdue balances.
• Generate aging reports and provide updates to management.

BIR Filing

• Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR reports (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax).
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and maintain proper documentation for filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors or consultants for taxrelated matters.

Audit Support

• Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls.
• Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval during inspections.
