Description

Receive, review, and process high volumes of vendor invoices and credit memos, ensuring proper authorization and necessary supporting documents are attached.
Verify invoices by matching them against Purchase Orders and Receiving Reports/Receipts to ensure accuracy before processing payment.
Accurately code invoices by assigning expenses to the correct General Ledger accounts and cost centers within the accounting system.
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and payment problems by communicating with vendors and internal departments.
Prepare and execute weekly or scheduled payment runs ensuring compliance with payment terms and cut-off dates.
Reconcile monthly vendor statements to the accounts payable ledger to ensure all balances are accounted for and no outstanding liabilities are missed.
Review, verify, and process employee expense reports to ensure they comply with the company's travel and expense policy.
Maintain meticulous, organized, and up-to-date files of all invoices, payment vouchers, and financial documentation for audit purposes.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing required accruals and reconciliations related to accounts payable.
Assist in preparing year-end tax forms and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
