Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for dental procedures by explaining treatments, making them comfortable, and providing any necessary instructions.

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring proper patient positioning.

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.

- Take and process dental X-rays as needed.

- Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the system.

- Maintain patient records, including charting and documenting procedures and treatments.

- Ensure the dental office is clean and organized, including sterilizing work areas and disposing of waste properly.

- Manage patient scheduling and appointments, coordinating with the dental team for efficient patient flow.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.

- Monitor and manage dental supplies, ordering materials and ensuring the office is adequately stocked.

- Assist in billing, insurance claims, and managing patient accounts, if required.
