- Providing customer service: Respond to customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner. They may also process bills and help customers with questions about their charges.
- Customer Service: Attend to customer needs, answer questions about the menu, and handle any concerns politely.
- Process Payments: Take payments and provide receipts if required.
- Welcoming visitors: Greet visitors and direct them to their sits/ tables.
- Answering phone calls: Answer and make phone calls, screen calls and take messages.
- Managing mail: Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
- Scheduling meetings: Schedule meetings.
- Maintaining the reception area: Keep the reception area and other common areas clean and tidy.
- Maintaining records: Keep detailed records of visitor requests and calls received. They also update restaurant records.
- Performing administrative tasks: Perform other clerical tasks, such as faxing, transcribing, and filing.
