Oracle Database Administrator, Quezon City

Description

Design and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects.
Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
Perform database recoveries.
Assist developers and end-users with database usage, query development, and tuning.
Develop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, etc.
Support database connectivity from client applications.
Design and implement database security schemas.
Position will involve the database portion of various projects ranging from the installation of new packaged applications to the development of custom databases for in-house-developed applications. Project teams will be composed of multi-disciplinary teams including business analysts, systems analysts, programmers, and client users.
Competent to work at the highest level of all phases of database administration.
Have good working experience in Oracle Core DBA Architecture, Backups/Recovery and Performance tuning exercise.
Experience in Coordinating and working with Clients to understand the business requirement and design the architecture, accordingly, resolve issues if any.
Must be a strong team player and able to work closely with the other technical specialists and team members.
