QA/QC Supervisor, Quezon City

The QA/QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities at the construction site. This role ensures that all work meets the required standards, specifications, and contractual obligations. The supervisor will coordinate inspections, manage quality documentation, and liaise between project management, engineers, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement site-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests of materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
• Coordinate with third-party inspectors and testing agencies as required.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Review and verify material certifications, calibration certificates, and quality documentation.
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and resolving quality issues.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to site teams on quality-related processes.
• Prepare and submit regular QA/QC reports to project management and clients.
• Ensure that the project meets safety, health, and environmental regulations in line with quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ certification) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control and assurance on construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, ISO), and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and project management software.
