Plant Supervisor, Quezon City

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring smooth production processes, improving operational efficiency, and enforcing safety standards. The ideal candidate has a solid background in plant supervision, preferably in steel or metal manufacturing, with strong mechanical skills, time management, and leadership capabilities.

• Monitor day-to-day plant operations and production processes
• Prepare and manage operational reports and budgets
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a secure working environment
• Ensure plant compliance with local laws, safety standards, and company policies
• Manage staff schedules and maintain a fully operational team
• Supervise floor activities and address operational concerns
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to boost productivity and reduce costs
• Address departmental and interpersonal conflicts effectively
• Track and report plant expenses
• Inspect and monitor machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Coordinate timely repairs or replacements of faulty equipment
• Hire, train, and evaluate new employees
• Lead quality control initiatives and implement continuous improvement processes

• Bachelors degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (licensed engineers preferred but not required)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Plant Supervisor, ideally in steel or industrial manufacturing
• Familiarity with electromechanical technology and production machinery
• Strong knowledge of operations management, resource planning, and safety protocols
• Proficient in data analysis and computer systems
• Experience in people management, training, and team building
• Capable of leading by example and fostering accountability
• Physically able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods

Preferred Experience:

• Background in steel manufacturing, metal refining, or engineered material production
• Experience in implementing and monitoring production metrics and KPIs
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair capabilities
