Laboratory Aide, Davao del Sur

The Laboratory Aide provides essential support for the smooth and efficient operation of the laboratory. This role involves a variety of tasks, including preparing laboratory materials, assisting with experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Laboratory Preparation:

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Order and receive laboratory supplies as needed.

Laboratory Assistance:

• Assist students and instructors during laboratory experiments.
• Demonstrate proper laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
• Assist with the collection and disposal of laboratory waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Assist with the repair and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure the proper functioning of all laboratory equipment.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Assist in conducting safety inspections and drills.
