The Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets set by the company. The role involves identifying prospective clients, conducting sales presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Sales Officer serves as a key representative of the company in promoting its products and services and expanding its customer base.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within approved company guidelines.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to identify additional business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Gather and provide market feedback to management.
- Assist in developing sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client meetings, and transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Update and manage client databases and sales pipelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of contracts, quotations, and sales agreements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Customer Service teams regarding client requirements and concerns.
- Support collection efforts by coordinating with clients regarding outstanding accounts when necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
- At least one (1) to three (3) years of sales, business development, or account management experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Willing to conduct fieldwork and client visits as necessary.
- Preferably residing in or near Pasig City or nearby areas.
- Achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
- Number of new accounts acquired.
- Client retention and satisfaction rate.
- Number of client visits and presentations conducted.
- Timely submission of sales reports.
- Collection performance and account management effectiveness.
- Office-based with regular fieldwork and client visits.
- May be required to attend meetings, events, and business development activities outside regular working hours when necessary.
The Sales Officer may be assigned other tasks and responsibilities related to sales, business development, and customer relationship management as may be required by management from time to time.
