Key Responsibilities

The Product Data Steward is the guardian of our product master data integrity. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of product data within our Oracle Fusion Cloud MDM systemfrom initial item creation to complex cross-referencing and quality auditing. Acting as the bridge between Business, IT, and Data Governance, you will ensure our data is high-quality, compliant, and ready to drive strategic decision-making.

1. Product Information Management

• Data Lifecycle Management: Execute the creation, maintenance, and enrichment of product items in enterprise systems, ensuring strict adherence to governance rules.
• Hierarchy & Structure: Manage item organization assignments, hierarchies, and category mappings to ensure seamless downstream reporting.
• System Interoperability: Establish and maintain item cross-references to ensure data flows accurately across integrated business systems.
• Data Integrity & Auditing: Proactively monitor data quality via dashboards and validation tools; identify and resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, or errors.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data handling aligns with internal governance policies and external regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business units to gather data requirements and lead item data migration activities during system upgrades or integrations.

2. Process Improvement & Knowledge Management

• Operational Excellence: Contribute to the development of MDM guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze recurring data issues and provide actionable feedback to senior IT teams to enhance system performance and user experience.
• System Health: Participate in periodic health checks and support data quality improvement initiatives.

3. Strategic Support

• Support ad-hoc projects and system testing as required by the evolving needs of the Data Governance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Item Management or Inventory Data.
• Direct experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (Item Management & Procurement) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion data structures (Suppliers, Items, Chart of Accounts, Locations).
• Proficiency in MDM tools, Excel (Advanced), and familiarity with OTBI/BIP reporting.
