Risk and Compliance Manager, Pasig

We are looking for an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager with strong exposure to ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) assessments to support enterprise-level governance, audit, and compliance initiatives.

The role focuses on evaluating control design and operating effectiveness, identifying control gaps, and driving remediation activities to strengthen the organizations financial reporting control environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong external or internal audit background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience handling ICFR engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of ICFR assessments across financial reporting processes
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness of key financial controls
• Identify control gaps, deficiencies, and remediation opportunities
• Conduct walkthroughs, controls testing, and risk assessments
• Drive remediation initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders and process owners
• Ensure alignment with COSO framework and internal control principles
• Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and reports to management
• Manage and mentor team members while overseeing engagement delivery and timelines
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, audit teams, and leadership groups to support compliance and governance initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in audit, risk, compliance, or internal controls
• 35 years of hands-on ICFR engagement experience
• Strong experience in assessing control design and operating effectiveness over financial reporting
• Solid understanding of COSO framework and internal control principles
• Background in external or internal audit with exposure to financial reporting processes
• Experience identifying control gaps and driving remediation initiatives with stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• People management experience handling at least 5 team members
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Experience in SOX, ICFR, controls testing, walkthroughs, and remediation activities is highly advantageous
