Software Tester, Pasig

Work Details

• Full Onsite in Ortigas, Pasig
• Day shift schedule
• 36 months (3 years) contract

Package

• Compensation includes a fixed monthly rate, 13th month pay (pro-rated, as applicable), optional HMO, statutory government-mandated benefits, and shuttle service within the Meralco franchise area (subject to limited capacity).
• Employees are entitled to five (5) service incentive leaves annually after one (1) year of tenure.
• Overtime and holiday pay are not applicable.

QA Testers

• Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Experience: 15 years in system testing, scenario-based QA, or business process validation.
• Testing Skills:
• Experience in scenario-based system testing (not just UI testing).
• Able to design test cases from business rules, including edge and exception cases.
• Understands the full test lifecycle (SIT, UAT, regression, entry/exit criteria, defect management).
• Comfortable with integration and batch testing (end-to-end, partial failures, reprocessing).
• Demonstrated ability to validate business processes by reviewing system logs and database records for consistency, including the use of basic database queries for audit and troubleshootingnot relying solely on user interface output.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable questioning numbers and results.
• Willingness to learn platform-specific testing tools and processes.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with SQL for data validation, reconciliation of input/output, and comparison of billing determinants.
• Automation testing maintenance.
