Description
  • Manages the preparation and production of all food items to be served based on the stores menu and recipes and ensures that all items are available at all times
  • Maintains the high quality of food served in his/her branch
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen to eradicate pests and cockroaches
  • Makes sure that all all cooked food is prepared in adherence to the strictest rules of food safety and hygiene
  • Ensures all cooking equipment are in good working condition: stoves and burners, grillers, exhaust machines
  • Ensures that cooking utensils and tools are complete and in good working condition
  • Ensures that cooking equipment and utensils are used properly to prevent damage and to be more efficient in food preparation
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times and ensures the kitchen is free of pests and insects
  • Reports damages or repairs needed to be done on equipment as well as exhaust, plumbing, gas and electrical operations of the store
  • Must be able to do minor repairs of broken tiles, burners (cleaning to ensure blue flame), minor painting or tapal works to prevent leaks, changing of fan belts, and similar minor repairs
