JOB DESCRIPTION:

Review inpatient medical records for accuracy and completeness

Ensure proper clinical documentation to support coding and billing

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to clarify diagnoses

Identify gaps in documentation and provide recommendations

Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards

Support accurate DRG assignment and reimbursement processes

Maintain quality and productivity standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CCS, CIC)

At least 12 years of Inpatient (IP) Coding experience

Minimum 1 year CDI experience

With 6 months 1 year bedside/clinical experience

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards

Excellent analytical and communication skills
