Company Nurse, Pasig

JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision of the HR Manager, process documents of employee benefits, improves safety and address health concerns among employees.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides physical and technical nursing care and support for patient and ensure patients receive treatment prescribed by the company doctor and other health professionals.
2. Carry out nursing care to patient.
3. Observe, monitor, assess, report and document patient condition and response to treatment.
4. Give medications in accordance with sound working knowledge of legislation and pharmacology.
5. Maintains first aid kits and medicines and ordering new supplies.
6. Provides first aid treatments, assists in routine medical examinations, gives advice on health matters and maintains sickness and accident records.
7. Disseminates information on current health issues, provides one on one health education/promotion and accident/disease prevention that includes bio security of the company.
8. Conduct random inspections in conjunction with rules and regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) and the control of substances hazardous to health. Supervise cleanliness of the canteens that are inside the company premises, and require sanitary permits for their employees.
9. Teams with the Environmental Health and Safety Committee to assess and recognize environmental factors and/or stressors from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health or discomfort among employees. Attend safety committee meetings as next officer to the physician.
10. Communicates safety concerns to appropriate directors, managers, assist in conducting accident investigation and investigate the causes of common illness and accidents.
11. Participates in the Disaster Management Committee as a member of the medical team.
12. Contact doctors and/or hospitals as necessary to arrange further treatment of patient.
13. Distributes and keeps various departments memorandum made by the PSEA Manager.
14. Maintains systematic filing of memorandum, files, guards report, cases and other confidential documents.
15. Process and report new employees to SSS for the 3 branches and Grains Handlers Philippines Incorporated.
16. Review, process and records Sickness and EC, Maternity Notifications submitted by the three branches. Evaluate cases of work-related accidents whether he/she is qualified to file EC Benefit.
17. Process and record Salary loan applications of the 3 branches, FFI, GHPI & PPDC and release approved loans.
18. Process and evaluate Multipurpose Loans submitted by employee before submitting to Pag-ibig Fund.
19. Prepares collection lists for SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth contributions, SSS and Pag-ibig loans every 1st or 2nd week of the following month of FFI, GHPI and Prolific Pig Devt. Corp.
20. Coordinate with Accounting Dept. for necessary changes regarding employees SSS and Pag-ibig concerns.
21. Coordinate with designated Diagnostic Laboratory clinics for the annual employee chest x-ray and other yearly laboratory examinations.
22. Prepares Christmas gifts for customers of FFI every end of the year.
23. Practices religiously company rules and regulations on personnel conduct and other policies or programs concerning safety, security, energy and materials conservation.
24. Performs other functions and tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
