Key Responsibilities

Provide oversight from project inception through execution, ensuring technical solutions align with commercial goals.
Lead the technical engagement of Owners Engineers and consultants; review and approve all technical deliverables to ensure quality and contractual compliance.
Develop and refine engineering procedures and best-practice frameworks for consistent project technical governance.
Research and integrate emerging technologies into the portfolio, performing risk and feasibility analyses for new energy solutions.
Design and maintain a versatile "Employers Requirements" template adaptable to various contracting structures.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of Project, Mechanical, and I&C Engineers, ensuring cohesive coordination across all technical disciplines.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
1020 years of progressive technical and project leadership experience in Power Generation or heavy infrastructure.
Proven track record spanning both the Development (Pre-con) and Execution (Construction/Commissioning) phases.
Extensive experience reviewing and managing Owner's Engineer (OE) work products.
Demonstrated success in developing engineering processes and procedures.
Familiarity with the latest emerging technologies in the energy sector (e.g., renewables integration, storage, or high-efficiency systems).
Have thermal power or coal experience.
Ability to balance technical perfection with commercial viability.
