Project Manager and Automated Tester, Pasig

We are seeking a talented individual to take on the dual role of Project Manager and Automated Tester. In this position, you will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized projects while also owning the automated testing strategy and implementation.

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver small to medium-sized projects from initiation to closure
• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Facilitate project meetings, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives
• Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and key metrics
• Ensure proper communication and coordination among project stakeholders

Automated Testing Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive UI and API test suites using frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and Jest
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and establish quality gates
• Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper test coverage and identify areas for improvement
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for test case generation, maintenance, and optimization
• Utilize AI-powered anomaly detection and log analysis to identify and prioritize issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test-related aspects
• Triage defects and ensure traceability to requirements
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and testing KPIs

Tech Stack Familiarity:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing test scripts
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and Jest
• Familiarity with React.js components and testing best practices
• Understanding of Node.js backend services and API testing techniques
• Knowledge of Supabase database testing, including schema validation and data integrity checks
• Experience with testing n8n workflows and automations
• Familiarity with AWS services and testing considerations for cloud-based applications
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
• Familiarity with observability tools and practices for monitoring and troubleshooting

AI-Driven Testing Expectations:

• Utilize AI-assisted tools for test case generation, maintenance, and optimization
• Leverage AI-powered anomaly detection and log analysis to identify and prioritize issues
• Apply AI techniques for intelligent test prioritization and risk assessment
• Incorporate AI-driven insights into defect triage and root cause analysis
• Explore opportunities for AI-assisted test data generation and management

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in project management or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest)
• Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, Supabase, n8n, and AWS services
• Experience with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage competing demands
