Job Description HR Generalist (Labor Relations)

Manage employee relations: handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations.
Support collective bargaining and maintain good relationships with unions (if applicable).
Conduct investigations into workplace issues and prepare reports.
Advise management on labor-related policies and employee concerns.
Maintain records of employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and resolutions.
Assist HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance management when needed.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in labor relations or employee relations (usually 23 years).
Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Organizational and time-management skills.
