Job Description HR Generalist (Labor Relations)
Qualifications
- Manage employee relations: handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations.
- Support collective bargaining and maintain good relationships with unions (if applicable).
- Conduct investigations into workplace issues and prepare reports.
- Advise management on labor-related policies and employee concerns.
- Maintain records of employee relations cases, disciplinary actions, and resolutions.
- Assist HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance management when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in labor relations or employee relations (usually 23 years).
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
