Procurement Specialist, Pasig

Job description:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of products from international suppliers to meet business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Checks 3 potential suppliers who can provide the right product with good quality and those who can comply with registration documents.
• Collates product details to canvass (specifications, size, packaging dimension, price)
• Gets the MOQ, Incoterms and ask for a discount price
• Drafts canvass in Excel format (Item, specification, packaging details, MOQ, incoterm and price).
• Sends canvass for President's approval.
• Requests samples from the supplier for evaluation and testing.
• Communicates/coordinates with the supplier for any additional request or inquiry.
• Coordinated with Product Specialist on the evaluation of a certain product
• Coordinates with Graphic Artist for the preparation of the artwork.
• Endorse the processing of FDA registration to Regulatory Department.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the processing of orders for the group.
• Coordinate with the Logistics and Planning Manager on the replenishments of the group.
• Monitors the import status of the group and ensure that all concerned departments are in the loop for whatever changes.
• Coordinates with the supplier all product complaints of the group and ensure that compensation or refund will be received.
• Monitors the status of all promotional materials for the group.
• Assigned as the Systems-In-Charge for PPI ISO Audit.
• Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
