Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role involves planning, managing, and analyzing financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager plays a strategic role in financial decision-making and contributes to the overall growth and financial stability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and identify areas for cost optimization or revenue growth.
• Provide financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and business performance reports.

Accounting & Financial Operations:

• Supervise daily finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, and implement audit recommendations.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of accounting and finance staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and development opportunities.
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Strategic Support:

• Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and capital expenditures.

Qualifications: Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Required) CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification
• (Preferred) Masters degree in Business Administration or Finance is a plus
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards and reporting.
