Promote and maintain the health of workers, identifying hazards in the workplace and preventing hazardous exposures on the job.
Prepares and maintains sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
Record of results of surveys, including the shape contour location, elevation, and dimensions of land and land features.
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations that were conducted at survey sites.
Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.
Establish fixed points for use in mapmaking, utilizing geodetic and engineering instruments.
