Patient Preparation and Positioning:

• Preparing patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering questions.
• Positioning patients accurately to obtain clear and precise images.
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Operating Imaging Equipment:

• Operating a variety of imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines
• Adjusting equipment settings to optimize image quality.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment.

Radiation Safety:

• Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols to minimize patient and personal exposure.
• Using protective devices, such as lead aprons and shields.
• Monitoring and documenting radiation levels.

Image Production and Evaluation:

• Producing high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluating images for clarity and accuracy.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicating effectively with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns.
• Maintaining clear and concise documentation.
• Responsible for coordination with the head of the clinic, radiologist and other section chief to properly execute the x-ray sections goals and targets
