Position: Jr. Site Engineer

Location : Alfonso, Cavite

Position Overview

The Jr. Site Engineer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring that all construction activities conducted by contractors are aligned with approved plans, quality standards, project specifications, and timelines.

This role serves as the companys in-house site engineer who will oversee ongoing construction, improvement, and maintenance concerns for company villas and offices. The Jr. Site Engineer will help hold contractors accountable for workmanship, compliance, and project execution.

The position is ideal for a young Civil Engineer who is willing to learn through mentorship and hands-on site exposure alongside experienced engineers and the RivCon team.

Key Responsibilities

Site Monitoring & Quality Assurance

• Monitor daily construction activities on-site.
• Ensure contractors follow approved plans, specifications, and project standards.
• Inspect workmanship and verify if work execution meets quality expectations.
• Identify site issues, construction concerns, and deviations from plans.

Contractor Management

• Hold contractors accountable for project deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors regarding corrections, punch lists, and project concerns.
• Assist in monitoring contractor productivity and compliance.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with senior engineers, suppliers, and contractors regarding site requirements.
• Provide site updates and progress reports.
• Assist in scheduling and monitoring project timelines.
• Help oversee improvement and maintenance-related projects for company facilities and offices.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly accomplishment reports.
• Document site progress through reports and photos.
• Assist in maintaining project records and site documentation.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with construction safety protocols and company standards.
• Help maintain organized and safe project sites.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred
• 23 years of related construction or site engineering experience
• Willing to work on-site in Alfonso, Cavite
• Open to mentorship and continuous learning
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing site concerns

• Willing to be trained and coached by experienced engineers
• Can work well with contractors and different site personnel
• Firm but professional when implementing standards
• Has initiative and strong follow-through
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced construction environment
