Production Supervisor, Cavite

Responsible for planning, leading, & controlling the Processing Operations which involve the preparation of Raw materials & other ingredients, cutting, grinding, mixing, stuffing & cooking of all frozen meat products in accordance to the standard process & procedure set by R & D. Management of manpower & time usage. Implementation of companys plans & programs.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Implements and makes follow through on approved production schedule.
• Coordinates with Spice Room, Purchasing and Dry and Raw Materials Warehouse regarding availability of materials
• Monitors and supervises the grinding/cutting, mixing, stuffing & cooking of all frozen processed meat produced to ensure high quality finished products and minimize rejections.
• Administers scheduling of products to be produced to maximize labor and machine capacity.
• Coordinates with R & D pertaining to the changes in process, procedures and meat blocks.
• Enforces observance of GMP, HACCP policies and waste segregation, violators will be endorsed to agency management for appropriate action.
• Monitors daily attendance of workers and in case of absences. See to it that critical areas are supplemented w/ required work force to ensure continuity of Operations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, identify & recommends process improvement to attain. The targets & improve productivity.
• Monitors & review monitoring report and ensure availability during audits.
• Prepares production report to management on weekly & monthly basis to be submitted on time/required by Accounting.
• Assist immediate Superior in preparing process procedure & other documentations required for the FSSC.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational Attainment: BS Engineering, BS Food Technology or any related course

Work Experience :With a least 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing plant; at least 1-2 years in supervisory capacity

Training/Skills Required: Good in production and time management and leadership skills. Knowledgeable on industrys GMP, HACCP and FSSC V6 standard and requirements
