Job Title: Assistant Cook

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operations. The Assistant Cook will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to prepare high-quality dishes, maintain cleanliness, and ensure efficient food service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards
• Prepare ingredients (chopping, slicing, marinating, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory
• Support the head cook/chef during busy service periods
• Follow all safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications:

• At least high school graduate or vocational training in cooking/culinary arts
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction
