Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor, Cavite

About the Role

BAUCH (Phils.) Laboratories Corp. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor to lead technical services laboratory operations and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of analytical testing in our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

This role is responsible for supervising laboratory analysts, overseeing testing activities, and maintaining laboratory systems in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the analytical and micro laboratories, ensuring accurate and timely analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Review and approve laboratory data, test results, and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with quality standards
• Ensure laboratory practices align with pharmaceutical quality systems and inspection readiness
• Provide technical guidance and training to laboratory analysts and QC personnel
• Monitor laboratory equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance schedules
• Support method verification, validation, and laboratory investigations when required
• Participate in internal audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records in compliance with company procedures
• Knowledgeable in operation and troubleshooting of major & minor pharmaceutical laboratory instruments (HPLC/UV-Vis/GC/AAS/Dissolution Tester/etc)

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant science-related course
• At least 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control and/or R&D laboratory operations
• With supervisory or leadership experience in laboratory environments
• Strong knowledge of laboratory documentation practices and pharmaceutical quality systems
• Experience with analytical instruments commonly used in pharmaceutical testing is an advantage
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and team coordination abilities
• Willing to work on-site in Silang, Cavite, 48 hours a week
