Description

Develops, tests, and makes modifications to mechanical equipment.
Carries out preventative maintenance.
Completes all duties according to applicable safety measures and published procedures.
Assists field technicians with diagnostic checks and symptom analysis.
Keeps an up-to-date inventory of mechanical tools.
Identifies malfunctions and then carries out repairs.
Repairs or replace defective equipment parts.
Interprets test plans and procedures.
Regulates downtime by enlightening production staff on standard preventive maintenance methods and monitoring their compliance
Oversees mechanical devices while in operation and listens for complications using accurate testing and measuring instruments
Cleans and lubricates gears, shafts, bearings, and other machinery parts.
Ascertains changes in the dimensional requirements of parts by examining used parts and utilizing micrometers, rules, calipers, and other measuring tools.
Ensures that all mechanical equipment is running in safe conditions.
Ensures that all motor, pump, blower, and other mechanical equipment are getting a daily visual checking.
Maintains a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
