We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Construction Helper to assist our skilled tradespeople and construction team on various job sites. The ideal candidate must be punctual, hardworking, and capable of performing a wide range of tasks to support the efficient execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Support and Preparation:
• Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up safety barriers, and erecting temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding, barricades).
• Dig trenches, shovel materials, and operate basic machinery and hand tools as directed.
• Direct Assistance to Tradespeople:
• Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by holding materials, fetching tools, and preparing mixtures (e.g., mortar, concrete).
• Perform simple construction tasks under supervision, such as mixing cement, painting, stripping forms, and demolition.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Safety and Cleanliness:
• Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the day.
• Dispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with site procedures and regulations.
• General Labor:
• Follow instructions from the Site Superintendent or Foreman regarding daily tasks and priorities.
• Perform other laboring and unskilled duties as required to facilitate project progress.
