Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible with the day-to-day function of pharmacy operation
• Manage pharmaceutical supplies and charges.
• Receive and inspect delivered drugs.
• Send patient charge slips to billing before discharge.
• Inform physicians to potential drug issues.
• Provide drug information to medical and nursing staff.
• Verify prescription details and check drug labels and expiration dates.
• Record daily transactions in both computer and index card systems.
• Ensure correct over-the-counter medication quantities.
• Monitor drug expiration dates and inventory.
• Record filled prescriptions in the prescription book.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks and coordinate stock management with other departments.

Qualification

• Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Must be a licensed pharmacist
• Preferably with at least 1 year experience but newly board passers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity in a hospital setting is an advantage
