General Accountant / Cost Accountant, Cavite

Description

Design and implement effective cost tracking and accounting for manufacturing operations.
Provide data-driven advice to leadership management on costing standards and measures.
Provide regular audit reports on cost factors affecting manufacturing operations. Variance analysis on material inventory and consumption reconciled with accounting data on purchases and payables must be provided via periodic reports. Pursue various sources of data or extrapolate info if needed.
Act as the accounting lead in partnering with the Cost Control Team in doing, managing, and reporting annual and periodic inventory counts for materials and supplies, work in process, finished goods and all other company assets. Act as team lead for projects related with cost accounting. Act as accounting team representative for overall cost projects.
Initiate costing reports on rejection and productivity losses.
Support the accounting officer -in -charge in general accounting functions such as but not limited to payables processing, business compliance and other special projects.
Perform other functions that maybe assigned by the EVP and AVP, such as but not limited to company expansion, forecast projections in process cost improvements, provide audit findings and recommend countermeasures and solutions
