Accounting Manager, Rizal

Location: Marikina, Philippines

Reports to: CFO / CEO

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the hospitals finance and accounting operations. This role is responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, revenue cycle management, and financial planning to ensure operational efficiency and long-term financial sustainability.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in healthcare finance, PhilHealth and HMO claims management, and regulatory compliance in the Philippines.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PFRS.
• Ensure compliance with BIR tax regulations including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax filings.
• Manage internal and external audits and maintain audit-ready records.

Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management

• Oversee PhilHealth and HMO claims processing and minimize claim rejections or Return-to-Hospital (RTH) cases.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections.
• Maintain and review the hospital chargemaster to ensure pricing compliance with DOH regulations.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting for hospital departments.
• Conduct cost analysis (cost per patient, cost per procedure).
• Evaluate capital expenditures such as medical equipment and facility upgrades.

Internal Controls

• Strengthen financial policies and internal controls.
• Implement proper inventory management for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Philippines
• 810 years experience in accounting or finance
• 35 years leadership experience, preferably in hospital or healthcare organizations
• Strong knowledge of PhilHealth policies, healthcare billing, and BIR tax compliance
• Experience with ERP or Hospital Information Systems (SAP, Oracle, BizBox, etc.)
