Description

Oversee the ice-making machinery, ensuring its proper functionality and adjusting parameters such as ammonia levels, salinity, and water quality.
Adhere to the production schedule, monitoring harvest times and temperatures to ensure adherence to the production template.
Perform regular inspections, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment, including freezing tanks and related machinery.
Conduct minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance group for larger issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
Implement and maintain company policies on safety and sanitation, including good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
Conduct inventories of consumables and parts, reporting needs for refilling ammonia or reinforcing salt to the production head.
Document and record operational data, monitoring parameters and filling out log forms for submission.
May supervise brine men and storage men, ensuring adherence to duties and operational standards.
