About the role
Accounting Officer role at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC) offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing, innovative construction company. As a fulltime position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing daily human resource operations, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training, and compliance with labor laws. The role supports management and employees to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
What you'll be doing
Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
- Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower requirements
- Post job vacancies and screen applicants
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring decisions
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues
- Ensure proper implementation of company policies and procedures
- Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture
- Handle conflict resolution and employee counseling
Timekeeping & Payroll Support
- Monitor attendance, leave applications, and overtime records
- Coordinate payroll-related concerns with accounting/payroll team
- Ensure accuracy of employee records and HR documentation
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Monitor employee benefits, leave balances, and insurance
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and processing
Performance Management & Training
- Assist in employee performance evaluations
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs
- Support implementation of HR initiatives and company activities
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and HR documents
- Prepare HR reports and documentation for management
- Supervise HR staff and daily HR operations when needed
What we're looking for
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 35 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Knowledgeable in Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and payroll support
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
