Finance Supervisor, Taguig

Position Summary:

This position serves as the primary finance business partner of the Sales Department, ensuring commercial matters are grounded within the principles of accuracy and strong governance. Generally, this oversees pricing, margin management, sales analytics, profitability in various perspectives (e.g., per customer, per project, per location, per channel, per product, etc.), and various commercial internal controls contributing to profitability at the same time protecting financial integrity.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Provide daytoday financial support to Sales Department particularly on pricing, appropriate customer promotions, reasonable customer deals, and commercial negotiations.

Review and challenge sales proposals to ensure profitability, compliance, and alignment with overall strategic objectives.

Develop profitability analyses (e.g., per customer, per project, per location, per channel, per product, etc.) to guide portfolio and account strategies.

Lead the review and request approval of pricing requests, discounts, rebates, and commercial terms.

Monitor margin performance (e.g., per customer, per project, per location, per channel, per product, etc.) and identify improvement opportunities.

Support mass price increase implementation and validate pricing accuracy in systems

Prepare monthly sales performance packs, including variance analysis, volume/mix insights, and forecast accuracy tracking.

Partner with Sales Department to build rolling forecasts and annual sales budgets, while ensuring accuracy, completeness & timely submission, together with supporting schedules, comments, and analysis.

Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate deal structures, promotional plans, and revenue strategies, and to support decision making.

Ensure commercial activities comply with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee proposal of accruals for rebates, discounts, and sales incentives, including its accuracy and completeness.

Support audits and implement corrective actions to strengthen commercial finance governance.

Lead preparation of salesrelated financial reports for management and executive reviews. Track and monitor and perform monthly financial performance analysis against budget/forecast and identify risk and opportunities (commonly known as Risks and Ops) in timely manner.

Validate sales data, revenue recognition, and margin reporting in coordination with Accounting standards.

Oversee receivablerelated tasks tied to commercial operations (e.g., dispute resolution, billing accuracy) when applicable

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Managerial Accounting

Preferably CPA or CMA certification

23 years of experience in commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or related roles.

Strong analytical (able to interpret complex data and translate into insights) and financial modeling skills.

Proficiency in Excel and financial systems

Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, or Commercial Financial Departments is highly preferred, and builds trust with Sales Department while upholding financial discipline.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively.

Strong understanding of revenue drivers, pricing mechanics, and margin levers.

Leadership experience or supervisory exposure is an advantage.

Provides clear recommendations, not just data.
