Certified Public Accountant, Taguig

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Prepare and file all required tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations and other government requirements.
• Monitor the tax filing and payment calendar to avoid penalties for late submissions.
• Maintain organized tax records and supporting documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
• Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare financial reports including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and other accounts.
• Maintain and update the companys general ledger and external books in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate needs to be:

• must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• must have at least 3 years of extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or external bookkeeping.
• Thorough understanding of Philippine taxation, PFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience working with external auditors and personally handling BIR submissions is an advantage.
• Proficient in various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
• Willing to work onsite in BGC.
