HR Manager (URGENT), Taguig

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and systems aligned with business goals
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership on organizational planning and culture-building
• Oversee employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, performance management, and offboarding
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government regulations
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for various roles (creative, marketing, operations, etc.)
• Build employer branding strategies suited for a digital marketing startup
• Handle employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• Drive engagement initiatives and retention strategies
• Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compensation benchmarking
• Recommend competitive compensation structures suited for startup growth
• Draft, review, and manage contracts such as but not limited to: employment contracts, vendor agreements, client service agreements, coordinate with legal advisors when necessary, and ensure all contracts are compliant and aligned with company policies and local regulations
• Support collaboration and communication with Chinese stakeholders or partners
• Help bridge cultural and operational differences within teams

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Political Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist or managerial role
• Proven experience working in a startup environment
• Experience working with or supporting Chinese stakeholders or companies is highly preferred
• Background in digital marketing, advertising, or creative industries is a strong advantage
• Amenable to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City
