Job Summary

We are hiring a Quality Auditor Medical Coding with strong experience in BPO healthcare accounts. The role focuses on auditing coding accuracy, ensuring compliance, and improving overall coding quality across Emergency, Observation, and Surgical cases

• Perform daily coding audits based on assigned sample coverage
• Maintain minimum 95% quality accuracy
• Ensure compliance with internal and client coding standards
• Identify performance gaps and recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with coders, QA teams, and leadership
• Utilize and demonstrate working knowledge of the EPIC system

• Certification required: AHIMA or AAPC
• Bachelors degree required (RN is an advantage but not required)
• Minimum 4+ years of medical coding experience
• BPO experience in medical coding is required

• Emergency Department (ED) and Observation coding
• General surgical and bedside procedures
• Injection & Infusion (I&I) coding:
  • IV Push
  • Chemotherapy
  • Non-chemotherapy infusion
  • Hydration
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Coding modifiers
  • Surgical supply charges
  • Resolving NCCI edits
• Experience validating Revenue Codes:
  • 0760 Treatment/Observation Room
  • 0762 Observation Room
  • 0761 / 0769 Treatment rooms
• Familiarity with:
  • Carve-out procedure times
