Job Summary

We are seeking a Logistics Vendor Development Specialist to manage, evaluate, and improve the performance of third-party logistics providers and transport vendors. The role focuses on building strong partnerships, optimizing delivery performance, and ensuring cost efficiency across the supply chain.



Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard logistics vendors (transporters, 3PLs, couriers)
  • Monitor vendor performance using KPIs (on-time delivery, cost, service quality)
  • Develop vendor scorecards and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Implement vendor improvement plans and corrective actions
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, warehouse, operations)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations



Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 25 years experience in logistics, vendor management, or supply chain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with logistics systems (TMS, ERP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
