Collection Assistant - Direct Hiring - BGC Taguig

JOB SUMMARY

Collection Assistant is responsible for the daily credit operations, and the management Accounts Receivables aimed to proactively mitigate financial risk and minimize bad debt exposure.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs collection of outstanding account/s of clients and related activities, i.e sending list of overdue accounts, monitoring and follow-up of payment of accounts, drafting and sending of demand letters, notices of dishonor and compromise agreements;
  2. Prepares Statements of Account on clients overdue;
  3. Prepares weekly reports on collection of outstanding account /overdue accounts of clients;
  4. Coordinates and communicates directly with the client regarding bounced checks, allowing a five-day grace period for the Sales Executive (SE) to manage and settle the issue;
  5. Coordinates with the clients for payment of overdue accounts (60 days and above);
  6. Monitors daily check deposits sent to the financial group to verify if a client has requested an extension/hold letter;
  7. Uploads all requests, including extension letters, bounced check notices, demand letters, and notices of dishonor, to the server for comprehensive updating;
  8. Coordinates with the respective Sales Executives (SEs) and relevant departments to resolve problematic overdue accounts;
  9. Acts as the authorized company representative to attend all scheduled court hearings, including those Small Claims and Batas Pambansa B.P22 cases, ensuring proper presentation of evidence and compliance with judicial directives;
  10. Updates the client grade status on the server on a weekly basis;
  11. Sends weekly overdue accounts to respective SEs Viber Collection group;
  12. Performs other works as may be assigned from time to time by superior.
  13. Verification of weekly Approved orders.

Education

College graduate

Experience

At least 3 to 5 years experience in Credit & Collection

BGC office

  2. Clear and concise verbal and written communication, as well as active listening
