As a USRN Medical Coder, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate medical coding and documentation compliance for hospital records. Youll work closely with healthcare providers and auditors to maintain high-quality coding standards aligned with US healthcare guidelines.

Review and analyze patient medical records for accurate code assignment

Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and/or CPT codes

Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory standards

Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with clinical teams

Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks

Support audits and quality assurance activities

Stay updated with coding changes and healthcare regulations
