SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC), Taguig

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate critical Month-End Close (MEC), Forecast, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities, acting as the central point of coordination (Quarterback) to ensure seamless execution.
• Perform operational activities within SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including:
• Executing and monitoring data loads
• Triggering pipelines or process chains on demand
• Managing system activities during critical close windows
• Provide extended availability during MEC cycles to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor and resolve incidents reported during MEC promptly to avoid financial reporting delays.
• Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Anaplan and other upstream/downstream system owners) to:
• Gather status updates
• Facilitate decision-making
• Ensure seamless coordination across India (IST) and US (PST) time zones
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to support month-end forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Perform in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex system or data issues:
• Document findings clearly
• Present actionable recommendations to Business System Analysts (BSAs) and Leads
• Drive permanent fixes and preventive measures
• Resolve complex incidents escalated from L2 support by leveraging strong knowledge of:
• Application architecture
• Data flows
• System integrations
• Continuously share expertise and best practices to enhance L1 and L2 support capabilities.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization efforts.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in:
• SAP BPC
• SAP Analytics Cloud
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience supporting global finance teams across multiple time zones.
• Solid knowledge of data integration, pipelines, and system interfaces.
• Experience in incident management, RCA documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
