Purchasing Associate, Taguig

Purchasing and Procurement:

• Assist in sourcing products, materials, and services based on company needs.
• Process purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate records in the procurement system.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, delivery timelines, and service standards.
• Follow up on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders, shipments, or invoices.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels and track inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate stock records.
• Generate reports on inventory trends and suggest order quantities when necessary.

Administrative Support:

• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts and supplier records.
• Prepare and distribute procurement reports to stakeholders.
• Process invoices and ensure they match purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Handle data entry and maintain procurement software databases.

Compliance and Process Improvement:

• Ensure purchasing activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Support procurement audits and documentation requests.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Clerk, or in a similar role.
• Working experience in Food and Beverage and Hospitality industry is a plus
