SAP ABAP Development for HANA (Multiple Levels), Hybrid

Qualifications:

• Experience Levels Needed: (2+ yrs), (3+ yrs), (5+ yrs) experience in in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA database architecture.
• Proficiency in CDS (Core Data Services), OData, and S/4HANA Extensibility.
• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Application Development.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
• Knowledge of Web Intelligence and Business Objects.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Your level of ownership will scale with your experience, but core duties include:

• Development: Optimize and implement ABAP programs and CDS Views to support reporting and business logic.
• Architecture & Design: Assist in defining technical requirements (security, performance, quality) and design individual technology components.
• Leadership: (For Senior/SME levels) Lead team meetings, manage team decisions, and engage with multiple stakeholders to provide cross-functional solutions.
• Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts and Technical Architects to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure architectural consistency.
• Innovation: Develop application prototypes to evaluate solution options and implement "quick wins" to meet performance goals.
• Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, debugging, and participate in quality management reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Mentorship: Facilitate knowledge sharing and assist in the training and development of junior team members.
