Job Description:

The Senior Barista is responsible for maintaining the highest quality in beverage preparation and customer service, while also mentoring the barista team. This role ensures consistent execution of coffee standards, supports daily operations, and contributes to team development and store profitability through hands-on leadership, quality control, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and excellence in taste, presentation, and service.
  • Serve as the teams go-to expert for all things coffeebean profiles, brewing methods, and equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct training and continuous development for baristas to elevate team skills and uphold coffee standards.
  • Support daily floor operations, including taking customer orders, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the bar station.
  • Monitor inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and related supplies; ensure proper stock levels and timely ordering.
  • Recommend improvements in service flow, bar layout, and beverage offerings to enhance guest experience and efficiency.
  • Promote excellent customer experience by engaging guests, providing product knowledge, and responding promptly to feedback or concerns.
  • Collaborate with management on seasonal beverage development and promotional activities.
  • Uphold safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the area.


Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso-based drinks, and brewing techniques (pour-over, cold brew, etc.).
  • Proven ability to train and mentor junior baristas.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about coffee and committed to continuous learning.
  • Basic inventory and POS system knowledge is a plus.
  • Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum of 23 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.
