Licensed Medical Technologist, Taguig

Qualifications:

• Licensed Medical Technologist (PRC).
• With DOH Drug Testing Certification (Mandatory).
• Preferably with 6 months1 year clinical laboratory experience.
• Knowledgeable in LIS operation and automated analyzers.
• Strong ethics, integrity, and ability to handle confidential data.

Responsibilities:

A. Drug Testing (DOH-Certified)

• Conduct specimen collection, handling, sealing, and chain-of-custody documentation following DOH 
• Perform screening and confirmatory drug tests using immunoassay and related analyzers.
• Determine and validate drug test results, ensuring accuracy and absence of contamination.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and secure records of all drug testing activities.
• Assist in audit readiness for DOH compliance.

B. General Clinical Laboratory Work

• Perform routine and special tests in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Immunology, and Urinalysis.
• Operate and maintain analyzers (e.g., hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, ELISA systems).
• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance, Quality Control (QA/QC) programs.
• Participate in proficiency testing and external quality assurance schemes.
• Validate and release results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

C. Compliance & Safety

• Follow DOH, FDA, PRC, for safe laboratory operation.
• Prepare and maintain procedural manuals, logs, and incident reports.
• Adhere to biosafety protocols and infection control policies.
