Solar & BESS Technical Engineer, Taguig

Technical Support for Project Bidding:

• Provide in-depth technical input during the bidding phase of Solar and BESS projects.
• Identify project risks, technical challenges, and key assumptions early in the process.
• Propose effective risk mitigation strategies and follow through until risks are resolved or accepted.

Project Delivery & Technical Management:

• Take ownership of the technical execution and quality management throughout the delivery phase.
• Lead coordination efforts across subsystems including solar PV, BESS, power supply and distribution systems, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
• Quickly resolve technical issues that may impact the project schedule or performance, ensuring alignment with the overall project delivery plan.
• Leverage experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or turnkey Solar & BESS projects to guide successful implementation.

Testing & Commissioning:

• Lead and perform comprehensive testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems are installed and functioning as per design specifications.
• Develop test plans, review test reports, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.

Ongoing Technical Support & Maintenance:

• Provide timely and effective technical support during the operations and maintenance (O&M) phase of the project.
• Focus on resolving pain points and issues affecting system performance and customer satisfaction, in line with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain a high level of responsiveness and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality technical service.

Customer Focus & Product Feedback:

• Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, identifying recurring issues or feature gaps from project experience.
• Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to drive continuous product improvement and innovation.
• Support efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the companys solar and BESS solutions in the market.

Professional Qualification:

• Have technical background in Solar & BESS solutions and related products, power supply and distribution, UPS, HVAC, fire extinguishing, and so on. Better have preliminary design capabilities for at least one of these systems.
• Have certain project management experience.
• Be conscientious, proactive, and have good communication and teamwork skills.

Professional knowledge requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Electronics and Electrical, HVAC, Energy Storage, etc.
• Have at least three to four years of experience in the Solar & BESS industry and be familiar with industrial organizations and certification standards.
• English as work language.
